POLICIES & REFUNDS

1. DEPOSITS. I require an initial deposit (half the Total cost before discounts) RESERVES your event date and is non-refundable. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing 30 days prior to the delivery date at which time any amount above the initial deposit will be refunded within 30 days
2.FINAL PAYMENTS.The final balance must be paid no later than on Delivery at which time final payment must be cash, arrangements for final payment need to be arranged 30 days prior to the Event date
3.CHANGES. The final date for any changes of size, style or flavors of the cake must be made 30 days prior to your Event date. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
4.RESPONSIBILTIES. I take my cakes very seriously and promise to do the very best to my ability to deliver your cake in a safe and timely manner. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy stand/ table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below. If you have cake stands, cake toppers or flowers that you want me to add on to the cake, need to be on the cake table at scheduled time of delivery. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.

Our products may contain or come into contact with milk,eggs, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

5. If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves (KcCakeladys) possession.

6. DELIVERY.Upon delivery I will photograph your cakes to confirm delivery/setup and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
7.COLORS. Dark colors can darken after a short time and may also add a color taste, as well as darken teeth and stain clothing. I can not guarantee exact colors as certain colors can pull out or in frosting depending on temperatures they may be exposed to. If I am given a swatch, via in person or in email or message I can get colors as close as my eye can see.
8. Scheduled deliveries require an exact address of Venue, if your cake is going to need to be delivered outside, park or shelter. I will need an accurate printed map
9. REFUNDS. If there is an issue with your cake that makes it inedible and need to requests a partial refund, requests must be made with in 24 hours of delivery of the cake in writing via email any uneaten portion needs to be returned within 5 days

10.Once you have made a deposit, you are acknowledging that you have read & agree to these policies
